How much time do you get for “finding” something?
A judge sentenced three people who were convicted of stealing wine and beer after Katrina struck to fifteen years in prison today. I’ll let you all draw your own conclusions about that. I only have two questions. One, is what’s the punishment for criminal negligence? The other is what race do you think the defendants were?

Man, you know the strangest thing about all the Katrina stories is that 90% of the looters they have arrested have been white or mexican and not from New Orleans. They put this story out there because this was some black people. 15 years for a drink is ridiculous
Uh...must have been Cristal, huh? A lot of Cristal.
So many things about that is messed up. For one it is the fact that they are of color and that white people who did that will get away with it. The Katrina happening was just the icing on the the whole big cake. Do not let anyone tell you racism is dead it is alive and doing to well. Just look back at some of the pictures from that, one that stick out in my mind is the old dead guy in the lawn chair. How do you think the media would have handle that if it was a white guy?( not have printed it.) Well I could go on about that, but enough said.
That story is just plain ridiculous. At least it's getting media exposure so it is brought to light. Although unlikely, I hope that judge gets booted from his seat! Power abusing, racist, criminally negligent [expletive] that he is! Could you imagine if it were a black judge doling out time to a white person? Hard to believe that it is darn near 2007 sometimes.
